From the Ring to the Field: The ferocity and aggression of Lucha Libre collide with the feverous passion and rich culture of Liga MX in this vivd jersey collaboration by CHARLY, the brand behind some of the top clubs in Liga MX including current champion Atlas, and AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide, the fabled and historic Mexican wrestling promotion. Atlas, Club Leon, Xolos, Santos Laguna and Pachuca get paired up and decked out with their own warrior and awesome design, and here we take a deeper look into this one of a kind jersey collection.
The recently crowned champions of the Liga MX Apertura 2021 tournament get a bright and bold jersey in this collaboration, with a vivid yellow backdrop and print in red, blue,and black covering the jersey from top to bottom with words such as “Rojinegro”, “Lucha Libre”, and “Enmascarado” found all around this luchador jersey. Their wrestler, “El Academico”, is an homage to Atlas’ long running youth academy, which is known for developing some of the most talented players in Mexican futbol.
The fighting spirit of La Fiera is captured beautifully in this vivid jersey for Club Leon, the historic 8 time Liga MX champion from Leon, Guanajuato. With a green and black backdrop, this jersey has the silhouettes of “Leonidas”, the club’s Luchador, featured all around along with eight pink stars both in front and behind, representing the eight championship conquests for the club.
“Espiritu Guerrero”, the Warrior Spirit, the perfect match for Los Guerreros of Santos Laguna, the fabled club fighting out of La Comarca Lagunera.
